Transparency Policy

GOATS supports crediting your sources. This includes the following:

  • The material shared in GOATS presentations is the content of the presenters.
  • Please enjoy it within the context of the presentation (generally it is impolite to request a presenter to give you a copy of their training videos as they no longer have control of its use once it is out of their hands, also it may violate client agreements and rights to privacy.)
  • Please cite appropriately when you learn something from our presenters.
  • It lifts our entire industry up when we credit appropriately and demonstrates our knowledge is supported by the work of many others.
  • We hope to model this behavior at GOATS and encourage our community to implement a transparency policy.

Unacceptable Behavior

  • Harassment, intimidation or discrimination in any form will not be tolerated.
  • Taking words out of context, or phishing for select statements from presentations, post presentation discussion, in chat, in the question and answer session, in the recording, to use to harass, intimidate or silence GOATS hosts, presenters, staff or invited guests via abusive intimidation suits (such as SLAPP suits) is strictly prohibited. Consequences

  • Anyone requested to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately.
  • GOATS staff (or their designee) may take any action deemed necessary and appropriate, including a verbal warning, immediate removal from the meeting without warning or refund, or reporting to the offender’s employer.
