States and Behavior

50 Points

This badge signifies completion of the course An Exploration of “States” and their Impact on Animal Behavior.

States are often blamed or celebrated for being the cause of animal behavior. Emerging information in neurobiology is providing interesting information about the role of the internal state of the organism and behavior. This may seem at odds with a behaviorist approach. However further exploration demonstrates these two disciplines do work together to explain behavior. And our interventions can and should consider the state for optimal outcomes.

This course takes about 1 hour to complete.
