This week’s livestream once again reminded us of the importance of stimulus control over behavior. Whether we want an animal to remember something or to forget it, stimulus conditions play an important role. Having this awareness can then make it so that we can facilitate remembering behavior (or forgetting). We also discussed additional strategies that can impact success or failure to remember. Our discussions also revealed how a behavior can suddenly come back after many years without reinforcement history. Another fascinating topic for our weekly discussions.
